I am an Enneagram 1 addicted to capturing life + telling stories. It is a passion born in me as a little girl + a part of my brain that never shuts off!

I formally picked up a camera in 7th grade for the yearbook + never looked back. Fast forward to 2007 when I started a family blog, which God used along with a small seed of faith + a big dream in my heart, to launch a photography business in the Grapevine/Southlake market back in 2008. I have been enamored with documenting life ever since, both visually + with words. 

​

All the twists + turns of life have taken me from the big city to the country, from corporate marketing to boutique promotions agency life, from homeschooling my children for four years to launching a nonprofit with my husband + running a food pantry - God has used it all for good, to help me see Him + know Him more, to sharpen my eye, to enlarge my heart, to extend my compassion, to find Him in the midst of the rat-race of life + to help hone my gifts for a higher purpose that He can use for His glory!

Through it all, I find myself more inspired + more in love with documenting life. I find myself more impassioned to be a storyteller, to capture families + gatherings, life's heartbreaks + celebrations. There is truly joy to be found in each journey. I pray your time with me will help give you this gift of reflection - to see His joys + mercies present in your life + to simply remember each precious stage or event of life. 

 

This is my crew, my why + who helps inspire me to dream new dreams + see the world in new ways. I have been married for nearly 20 years to my Aggie college sweetheart (Class of 2002) + am mom to 3 kids. You will usually find us either gathered around a table, out on our extended family farm, lost in a good book, watching an inspiring movie, catching the latest episode of “Chef’s Table” + seeing as much of the world as we can.

 

As for my approach, I believe "details make the difference" + offer services ranging from both photography to styling, content creation, writing + marketing consulting. I am primarily an on-location natural light photographer based in the Brazos Valley but I am available for travel.

While I specialize in children, families, high school and college seniors, engagement sessions + headshots, my experience and work ranges from that to commercial photography, food photography, as well as parties + events. At this time, I am not available for newborns or weddings.

​

I dream big, I love Jesus, I ask lots of questions + I love to blaze new trails. I thrive on the entire creative process + find such joy + inspiration in the fact that our God is the ultimate creator + giver of gifts. I pray that I will use the gifts He has given me to capture the light inside each of my clients that He put there - that I would capture the beautiful way that He sees you out in this beautiful world that He designed.

 

Anyone can pick up a nice camera these days + "point + shoot" but my heart + my aim is to artfully unearth + capture your beauty (or the beauty of a moment), that "thing" or that magic side that makes you come to life behind the lens. 

  

There are all sorts of stories that need to be told, documented, preserved, and I consider it a true joy, gift + privilege to partner with all of you to do just that.
